Belphegor — The Highest Ceiling

Belphegor has the highest fusion stats in the game at f(12/13/2). The +13 fPWR enables game-ending burst damage when fused under PWR-scaling demons. Rest Phase timing and readying abilities eliminate the exhaust-on-fusion downside.

Why Belphegor Works

Belphegor's stats look like a trap: 18/15/3 but comes into play Exhausted, +2 AP Cost on everything, -3 DEF while Readied, and exhausts on any fusion. The key insight is that Belphegor is not a standalone fighter — she's fusion material with the highest ceiling in the game.

Fusion Stats: f(12/13/2)

This is the highest fusion stats of any demon by a massive margin. When fused underneath a PWR-scaling demon:

  • Focalor (5+13=18 PWR): Great Blue Spot deals 3×18 = 54 Fixed Damage across a lane

  • Focalor + Focus (18+5=23 PWR): 3×23 = 69 Fixed Damage — kills any combination of demons in any lane

  • Thanatos (5+13=18 PWR): Styx's Shores deals 18 damage to ALL Other Demons

  • Kimaris (4+13=17 PWR): Fatally Wound threshold becomes 3×17 = 51 HP — kills literally everything

  • Aries (3+13=16 PWR): Artificial Sun deals (2×16)+1 = 33 Fixed Damage to a single target

Managing the Downsides

Exhaust on fusion: Fusing Belphegor exhausts the result. But:

  • Rest Phase timing: Contract/fuse in cycle 4 (last before rest). Rest Phase readies the fused demon immediately.

  • Readying abilities: Baal's Glory (ready all allies in a lane), Ipos's Command Army (ready demons with total CP ≤ 7), Hippolyta's Muscle Parade (ready all local allies with 5+ PWR).

+2 AP Cost inherited: Focalor's Great Blue Spot goes from 4 AP to 6 AP. Expensive, but for 54-69 Fixed Damage, you only need one shot.

-3 DEF while Readied inherited: Makes the fused demon vulnerable right when it can act. But if you're about to deal 69 Fixed Damage, DEF doesn't matter.

Standalone Use

18 HP / 15 PWR. If readied (Rest Phase timing), a basic attack for 15 damage one-shots almost every demon in the game. The +2 AP Cost makes it 4 AP per attack, but 15 damage is worth it.
