Virgo — The Slow Burn
Source: Theory | Confidence: Speculative | Category: Midgame
Virgo's Purge Filth is Allied and works regardless of her damage state. Once activated (13+ damage), Blooming In Rot generates free CP every turn while 7 PWR attacks kill demons. The Purge Filth friendly fire creates a self-activation path.
Two Modes
Virgo operates in two modes based on her sustained damage:
Passive Mode (0-12 damage): Team AoE Enabler
Virgo can't perform actions herself, but Purge Filth is Allied — any allied demon can use it:
-
Purge Filth (2 AP, exhaust): Deal 3 Fixed Damage to All Demons with at least 1 damage
-
No exhaust/ready requirement on Virgo — she just needs to be alive
-
Multiple allies can each use Purge Filth per turn (each spending 2 AP + their own exhaust)
Virgo also provides a 24 HP wall in a lane that the opponent doesn't want to attack (because damaging her activates her).
Active Mode (13+ damage): CP Engine
Once Virgo takes 13+ damage (11 or less HP remaining), she unlocks:
-
Blooming In Rot (0 AP, 1x per turn): Opponent gains 1 CP — free, every turn
-
Regular attacks: 7 PWR is high. Killing a 3 CP demon pushes 3 CP onto the opponent.
-
Combined: 4+ CP per turn pushed onto the opponent. At 15 CP to lose, Virgo can end the game in 3-4 turns.
Self-Activation Path
Purge Filth deals 3 Fixed Damage to ALL Demons with at least 1 damage — including Virgo. If Virgo takes even 1 damage from any source (opponent's AoE splash, etc.), allies using Purge Filth will chip Virgo toward the 13 damage threshold.
5 turns of allied Purge Filth hitting Virgo (3 Fixed per turn) = 15 damage → Virgo is activated. The activation path is built into her own kit.
